so doing the all-white wedding flowers thing seems to be quite a trend right now. my friend suze (hi suze!!) sent over some pictures of the florals at a wedding she went to this past weekend, up at the new york botanical gardens. i'm really jealous, i want to go to a wedding there. (i also want to take a flowers class up there sometime soon.)
but anyway, on to the flowers. suze sent two nice iphone pictures of the table centerpieces. the florist used a few different square, cut-glass vases, each filled with one type of white bloom. i love the tall arrangement of snapdragons in the first picture, and the calla lilies in the second one:
the place card table featured a calvin-klein-esque arrangement of all calla lilies, kind of perched at the top of their vase:
and then, to mix it all up, the bridesmaids bouquets were orange! or, partly orange, at least. it looks like they used some voodoo roses, with pops of blues and greens and whites. really cute.
